Drop Folder (Auto-Ingestion)

How it works: Drop a subfolder into the configured path and CaseTrace will automatically create a new case, move the files into it, and notify you with a banner in the dashboard — no clicks required.

Quick Start

Create or edit .env in the case-command-center/ directory with your API keys (see variable table above).
Start the server: python3 app.py — the dashboard runs at http://localhost:5050.
Create the drop folder if it doesn't exist: mkdir -p "/home/ubuntu/Desktop/Blackwell-Drop"
Drop a subfolder of files into /home/ubuntu/Desktop/Blackwell-Drop — a new case appears automatically within ~10 seconds.
Or use the + New Case button in the dashboard to create a case manually with full metadata.
After uploading evidence, run Prepare PDF / Transcribe Audio from the Inputs tab, then run Full Analysis from the Analysis tab.

Investigator Profile — Affiant Bio

Used to auto-generate the sworn affiant credentials paragraph in every warrant draft. If not set, warrants will include placeholder text.
